Welcome to Brenda Novak 's On-line Auction for Diabetes Research
For the last few years I've participated in Brenda Novak's on-line auction. I've participated by buying wonderful critiques from authors and editors. As a aspiring writer the feedback from those authors/editors were priceless. Now, that I'm a author, I still want to help. I'll be donating money and time.
I'm offering to do a critique or coffee chat (at Nationals) to help other aspiring writers.
I'm not famous, I'm just a down to earth person like you who is trying to make a career. You can ask me anything. Sharing information in this industry is truly important, and I want to do that if I can. I'm still learning tons too from other authors, editors and agents as well. That's what it's all about.
I remember going to my first RWA National conference in Dallas a few years ago, and what an experience. Thank goodness I had some room mates (Dawn McClure, Nikki Duncan, Gina Nelson) who were also unpublished at the time. We were so excited and giddy. We took so many classes, took tons of pictures with Nora, JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon and on and on......

Okay, I got off the reason why I was blogging today. If you are an aspiring writer go to Brenda's auction. Find someone that you think will help you with what you are writing. Bid on them. It will be the best investment. We all have to invest in our careers, and if being a writer is what you want to be, then put your money where your mouth is. The auction will be starting soon. So, check out some of the things they have and visit again later. They are still adding tons of items to bid on. (including me..haha)
